BAT INDONESIAIS LOOKING FOR A UTILITY & PROJECT MANAGER

SENIORITY LEVEL: Experienced Professional

FUNCTION: Operations, Manufacturing

LOCATION: Malang, Indonesia

REPORTS TO: Engineering & Site Services Manager

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Utilities: Responsible for the end-to-end operations and continuous improvement of the utilities systems which supply the factory. You will be responsible for both the technical systems and equipment which supply the factory and the functional responsibility for the team who operates the utility systems.

Project: Responsible for end-to-end project management and continuous improvement on project delivery. You will be responsible for all activities related to project alignment with the stakeholders, external vendor, and project team (people management and development).

Be the single-point-of-contact for all ‘BAU’ Utility and project activities at the respective stakeholders and/or vendor/supplier.

ESG: Responsible to support and drive of ESG by implementing green energy and CO2 emissions reduction initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Utility

• Ensuring 100% availability of utilities to various users within the factory and enabling production to proceed unhindered.
• Managing the utilities and buildings management control system to its optimum condition.
• Developing and executing effective maintenance planning and scheduling for all Utilities machines encompassing plants maintained in-house or 3rd Party

Suppliers

• Managing of specific O&M (operations and maintenance) suppliers and contracts (monitoring, supervision, and reporting).
• Ensuring compliance with all internal and external Environmental, Health and Safety requirements
• Lead implementation manufacturing excellence (IWS) in Utility
• Managing team and define people development program

Project

• Lead implementation project management system – Global Project Start Up Management (GSUM)
• Fully involved in IM Pillar activity
• Collaboration with Start Up Lead to manage project team and staffing roles and responsibilities
• Identify startup implementation strategy
• Define Startup Success Criteria and obtain approval from management
• Ensure startup plans are developed and meet the schedule
• Lead Commissioning and Qualification execution
• Technology Transfer & Training (TT&T)
• Contribute to VSU and/or ISU target achievement
• Lead and coordinate project team meetings

CRUCIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) and from reputable university
• Experienced in Engineering process / Project management / Maintenance Operation. (2-5 years)
• Experienced in ESG project / lead and drive ESG implementation
• Excellent level of report writing and technical / conversational English
• Machinery technical knowledge acquisition
• Strong technical and analytical skills for machinery, process and people.
• Experience in lean manufacturing/World class manufacturing/TPM
• Quality management processes *******
• Experience of project management including New Product introduction.
• Excellent interpersonal- and communication skills to influence key stakeholders, and motivate large numbers of people
• Able to lead and manage change within own area
• Good working knowledge of tobacco processing and technology.
• Knowledge of EHS standards and policies
